Buddy is a pure bred Shih Tzu, white with black features born in Foley, Missouri of Asian Origins, raised in Wethersfield, Connecticut, and trained around the nation and the world--and he is America's treasure as his Mommy's Presidential Doggie!

• The rightful owner of a copyright about inclusion of Supreme Court nomination processes at Presidential Sites around the Nation developed through the trip to pick him up in October 2020.

Buddy is trained by a multiple collective of groups coming together with his human mother.  In addition to his classroom experiences as well as his public appearances, he's even shared his training with other dogs around the world, to include managing some dachschunds, chihuahuas, terriers & Goldens in Colorado, a pitbull mix & yellow labrador retriever in Nevada, a shih Tzu in Oregon, and a yellow Labrador in Washington.  Especially "up" which he learned within the first day or two with his mommy.

• And don't get me started about his Greenies!  As the woman in the Walmart parking lot in Rocky Hill (CT) said about her dog -- "He will do tricks he doesn't even know for them!"

After being born in Missouri after his Mommy's presidential site tour of Van Buren, Fillmore, Garfield, Taft, Harrison, & Grant as well as Niagara Falls, the St. Louis Arch, & the Indianapolis Raceway, Buddy traveled to his home in Wethersfield, Connecticut by Mercedes Benz.  His Presidential Dog status continued with Mommy's studies of each of their administrations as well as her in-person visits of George Washington, John Adams,  Thomas Jefferson, John Quincy Adams,  William Henry Harrison,, Franklin Pierce, Benjamin Harrison, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Calvin Coolidge, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon Baines Johnson, John F. Kennedy, & Ronald Reagan.  Most notably may well be his singing along with President Carter's funeral and doing the same soon after visiting a Presidential Cemetery in Central California.  And he may well even have gifts at that Georgia Presidential gift shop in the future--with the grace and gratitude of Grits! He's also supported Mommy's knowledge of all the U.S. Supreme Court Justices, and don't get me started about the Congressional leaders of the U.S.A.  And more to come at the U.S. level!

His international travels have only been virtual (with a fun visit with Churchill in New York...amongst others physically in the USA) and in support of his Mommy's work at this time to include General Assembly work as well as advocacy at the Court of Arbitration for Sports, Permanent Court of Arbitration, the World Trade Organization and regional bodies like the EU, the OAS, the AU, and ASEAN.  We also hope to get to China to connect to his roots, Russia to continue mommy's diplomacy, Italy to visit the McDonald's in Florence near the train station, and many more nations around the world!

Buddy had a wonderful sheltered first year of life with his Mommy after she got him home.  Scared initially of the girl dog that supported Judge K through the Magna Carta tragedies  (Coey), they got through that first month to see a wonderful play moment and a supreme deference to the elder dog for much of his first three years with her in Connecticut.

Further, when Mommy was undergoing fertility treatments in Washington D.C., he was aggressively attacked but we were able to get through that attack (see pick above after leaving the hospital).

Also, in Bend, Oregon -- the site of his mommy's ICJ judicial proceeding of February 2025, he had a military grade weapon attack on his face on Thanksgiving 2024 that the U.S. Department of Defense is working on repairing.

Then, he was made to continue his fear of grooming issues so we had to use sedated grooming to keep his hair going.  And now we are struggling to get him groomed because of funding difficulties post-Emergency Session at the General Assembly on Israel in October 2023.
