Teresa "Ma" Ciarcia passed on from this world on May 27, 2024 at 1:14 p.m.
And in addition to so many things that she provided to me, from laughter to intellect to medical care knowledge to empathy and more, she showed me the beauty of the sun-dried tomato way back in 1989 and continued to do so whether she meant or not throughout the rest of her life.
Go in peace to heaven, my dear treasure.

Her favorite Catholic Church song.
I don't know which Christian song is her most favored as she drifted from cogency soon after converting to another Christian faith.

Photo credit unknown, circa 1975 in St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT (USA). Note the two clocks set two minutes apart. Melissa A. Kotulski was born at 11:58 p.m. in Hartford Hospital. You two hospital communities play nice now! Also note the ease she had with working with machines -- something that happened to the end of her career as an OB/GYN nurse/midwife.
Please feel free to check out the current materials about Alzheimer's Association, the organization considering the diagnosis that Ma suffered under for about twenty-five years. Ma also suffered under the diagnosis of bipolar in the later years of her life.
Entry forthcoming.
Photo of Teresa "Ma" Ciarcia by Unknown Photographer, taken in St. Francis Hospital, circa 1992 and signed by her colleagues. She was also feted with a large-scale retirement party by the Hospital community, her children and grandchildren were there to celebrate with her.
